EVCC Integration
EVCC.io is a great platform if you are charging with solar power. As evcc knows every charging in detail it would be a great opportunity, that it could manage the charging entries in tronity like amount of charged power, total costs, real charging time.
Are there any thoughts about that idea already?

Hi Martin Schumacher,
Yes, such scenarios make lot's of sense. To prepare this, we would need the endpoint to authenticate/map the user to the EVCC platform and another endpoint to listen for incoming charges (e.g. pubsub). Are you able to create a concept that would help to speed up the implementation on our side?

Hi Nils,
as evcc has no Usermanagement and is not designed for beeing used on the internet, the way has to be probably the other way around. evcc needs a plugin to push all relevant data to Tronity from its local network.
As far as I could see, there is no API in Tronity to push data, just to read data. Is that right?

Hi Martin Schumacher,
That is correct. So probably we need to formulate a feature request that says "write endpoint to add charging session". Best would be to design this generically. Would it make sense to close this feature request and replace it with "Enhance TRONITY Platform by write endpoint to add charging session"? Could you please take this with you. Let's see who else will vote for it.

Since I don't know if a follow up feature request has been created or not, I just wanted to vote for this feature.
I am a happy user of Tronity for quite some time now and since we have photovoltaic on our roof, I am also a very happy user of evcc to just charge PV-excess into our cars. And I agree that evcc has all the data, since it communicates directly with the cars as well as with the charging units.
So having the exact data being pushed from evcc into Tronity instead of Tronity have to guesstimate the information would be awesome.
