Missing trips to dummy trip

Sometimes Tronity does not sync trips from my car (Audi Q4). This is intermittent problem and I can manually create the missing data. But it gets tedious after a while. 

Would it be possible Tronity to create a ”dummy” trip when it notices that odometer has changed between two consecutive trips recorded? Because it knows the what was odometer when second last trip ended and what it was when the last started. If these differ, it has lost one or multiple trips. It does not know how many trips are missing or the route but it still gets distance & spent kWh.
