No trips recorded since 14 Dec
Can anyone suggest why there are no trips recorded in my Tronity account since 14 December? All other data appears to be OK.
The only thing I did around that time which might affect this is to unassign then immediately re-assign my vehicle from the VW WeConnect portal in order to fix an issue with my Infotainment system.

I have the same issue. No trips recorded since 05 January with a VW ID.4

Same for me me. No trips recorded since January 5th. VW ID.3 with SW 3.0

I contacted TRONITY support and Nils responded very quickly. He asked me to check the following and I found the option was disabled in my We Connect ID app. After enabling trip recording and car mileage are now updating again.
After updating to 3.0, the vehicle sends the GPS location - via the shop on the ID the We Connect Plus App needs to be installed. If you go to "Online Services" via the We Connect app and activate "Automatic service scheduling", the mileage is also transmitted.
Troubleshooting: If there are still issues, e.g. „automatic scheduling“ item in the Service In-Car-app is greyed out and could not be activated, please log into we Connect via web browser and apply there.0 -
Thanks Barry. This made me go look at Location Services in the car (Users > Settings > Privacy > Send location data). This was disabled. I enabled it and hopefully things will now return to normal.
Back at the time when trips stopped being recorded, I'd just done a factory reset of the Infotainment system to fix another problem. It looks like Location Services are not enabled by default.

Just to confirm, the above change in car (activating 'Send location data') fixed the issue for me. Obvious really I suppose!
