Fix to Stop Solar PV Charging Creating Multiple Charging Entries
Hi,
I have a Zappi Charger which links to my Solar PV, and one thing I've found is that if I'm charging only by Solar power, when the sun goes behind a cloud for a couple of minutes, Tronity says my charging session has completed, when actually, it hasn't.
Over the course of a few hours that the car is plugged in, this can end up creating lots of charging entries in the app. Is it possible to allow a longer timeout period from when a "not charging" status is detected? Eg, if Tronity currently gets a notification of "not charging" after 1 minute, could that be extended to 5 minutes or even 10 mins?
Whilst technically the car has stopped charging when the sun is covered by a cloud or there is insufficient surplus to charge the car, it is still plugged in waiting for enough power. But because the charge status isn't always detected on the Cupra Born, I'm not sure if you're able to base a charging session from when the car is plugged in until it's unplugged, rather than when it starts and stops receiving charge?
Many thanks
Adrian
