Integrate with Octopus Energy (UK) API for smart tariffs such as tracker/agile/go/flux

Hi,

Octopus Energy is now the largest UK energy provider to domestic consumers. They are very tech and renewable energy focused, and have a load of smart tariffs with extensive APIs too.

The question is whether Tronity would consider building an API integration with Octopus?

The request would be so that users could link a charging rate to their Octopus smart tariff and report accurate charging costs as the MVP.

Some Tronity users may have multiple homes each with different Octopus accounts with different tariffs, so there should be an ability to define different charging rates in Tronity linked to each Octopus account.

There probably considerably more scope to add extra functionality and capabilities over time.

  Great. Absolutely can help you test this. Yes I’m a customer. I suspect there’ll be a load of other customers too as Octopus is known for having a large number of EV owners due to their smart tariffs.
