Introduction
Through the "Home Charging" Work Center of the TRONITY Fleet solution, employees' home charging costs can not only be reviewed and exported but also directly paid out to the employees. This functionality is based on an Open Banking integration.
Definition of Open Banking
Open Banking is a concept in the financial sector where banks and other financial institutions securely share customer data with authorized third-party providers using open APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). This enables innovative financial services such as personalized banking apps, comparison portals, or financial management tools. Through Open Banking, customers benefit from increased transparency, better service offerings, and tailored solutions, while competition in the financial sector is fostered. Key aspects include data security protection, compliance with data protection regulations, and obtaining the explicit consent of customers for data sharing.
Important: The direct payout function to employees via the TRONITY Fleet solution is only available for vehicles assigned a TRONITY Fleet Professional license.
Payment Function
Once the billing report has been created, reviewed, and an export has been generated, the "Pay" function becomes available on the user interface. Through this function, all SEPA transactions are bundled and transmitted to a payment service provider. The service provider possesses the necessary banking and payment service provider licenses to securely manage the process.
Verification and Approval Process
After the data has been transmitted, the SEPA transactions can be reviewed within the environment of the payment service provider. Subsequently, you select the account from which the payments will be executed. For the confirmation and execution of the payments, your bank's respective PIN/TAN procedure is used.
Important: The execution of multiple SEPA transfers is only possible if supported by your bank.
Status Update after Payment
Once the transfer has been executed and you have received a confirmation, you can return to the TRONITY Fleet solution. The status of the export is now marked as "paid out."
