Introduction
At TRONITY, we receive vehicle data directly from the car manufacturers. The frequency at which this data is provided varies depending on the manufacturer. While some manufacturers supply the information at regular, short intervals, in the case of Kia, we only receive the data every 24 hours.
This means that information such as vehicle status, battery level, or driving behavior is not available in real-time but rather with a delay of up to a day.
Impact for You
For you, this means that you need to anticipate potential delays when querying vehicle data. For example, real-time data on battery charge level or vehicle range may not appear until the next day. This is particularly relevant if you need to make short-term decisions based on this data.
What You can Do
For most applications and purposes, a data update every 24 hours is sufficient. However, nothing can be done actively to change the delayed data update.
