Introduction
In addition to the classic reporting and asset management of your own fleet, the first Work Center is now available in the TRONITY Fleet solution. A Work Center represents a dedicated workspace. Our first Work Center focuses on the review, approval, and billing of employees' home charging sessions. This allows the employee benefit "reimbursement of home charging costs for the company car" to be easily represented and managed.
What does home charging actually mean? Home charging is the process of charging an electric vehicle at home. Further information can be found in the following article:

What is this article about?
The TRONITY Work Center offers companies a cost-effective and user-friendly solution to manage the home charging of electric vehicles. This article explains the key aspects of home charging, the requirements for its use, and the administrative processes involved.
Requirements and Setup
To use the Work Center for "Home" charges, some basic requirements must be met.
First, both the driver and the vehicle must be registered in the system. This step is necessary to correctly assign the charging processes. Once this foundation is established, the charging rates can be set up. Here, the type "Home" should be selected. The price can either correspond to the respective energy provider or, as in Austria, be a legally determined price. The address is crucially important. This allows an automatic assignment of the charging rate. If the employee has a secondary residence where the electric vehicle can be charged, a charging rate can also be set up for this residence. When the employee charges at one of the respective locations, the respective charging rate will be automatically applied. To ensure that the costs are reimbursed, the employee's IBAN must, of course, also be provided. Since charging losses occur during charging that cannot be determined from the vehicle data, these can be specified when setting up a charging rate. Further information on the topic of charging losses can be found in the following article:

The Work Center
The Work Center is now located in the dashboard of the TRONITY fleet solution. In the Work Center itself, it is possible to select a specific time period during which the employees' home charging sessions will be displayed. This cannot be done retrospectively. At a central location, it is now possible to track how many charges were made from home, what costs are incurred, and whether the charge was created by the system or manually.
To make management even easier, the Work Center Home Charging includes the "Accept" and "Reject" functions. Through this, performed charges can be approved or denied. If one or more charges are suspicious, it is easily indicated via the "Reject" function that this charge requires further discussion.
Once an employee's charges have been accepted, an export can be created. This includes a billing report, which is required for the transfer.
When all charges have been accepted, the process can be completed. In a completed section, there are now 2 new functions: Receipt and SEPA. These can be downloaded. The created XML file can easily be uploaded to, for example, Qonto. This makes reimbursement to the employee effortless.
TRONITY also works as a full-service provider, where we would take care of the payment. If interested, please feel free to contact us at
Conclusion
The introduction of the Work Center in the TRONITY fleet solution marks a significant step towards optimizing fleet management for companies with electric vehicles. By focusing on home charging, it enables efficient and user-friendly management of charging cost reimbursements. Through central management in the Work Center, charges can be easily reviewed, approved, and billed, significantly reducing administrative effort. Additionally, the ability to automatically assign charging rates and integrate payment information ensures that the process runs smoothly and transparently. TRONITY thus offers not only a technical solution but also a practical approach to supporting e-mobility in companies.
