Introduction
After your fleet manager has added you in the TRONITY fleet solution and you have been assigned to a vehicle, you will receive a link to your business email address. You can use this link to download the TRONITY app for IOS or Android.
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1:
Now open the app and log in with your login details from the e-mail. You will now see your vehicle and its current status.
Step 2:
Now click on "Connect vehicle" to activate the vehicle and start the data transfer.
Important note:
Before you can do the "Connect vehicle" step, the corresponding vehicle must have been assigned to you by the fleet manager. The easiest way to verify this is to open the respective app of the vehicle manufacturer and find the relevant vehicle there with current values.
If this is not the case, please consider the following steps:
1. create a user account with the respective vehicle manufacturer
2. with this user in the vehicle, either connect the vehicle via the vehicle manufacturer's app
connect
or
3. create a user account in the vehicle or declare the existing user as the main user in the vehicle.
Step 3:
You will now be asked to log in to the respective vehicle manufacturer. To do this, use your access data for the user with whom you are logged into the vehicle manufacturer's app.
Step 4:
Now go to your vehicle and start it. Please use the access data with which you are connected to the vehicle manufacturer and are active in your vehicle.
Important note:
Please check the following two things in the vehicle when the ignition is active:
1. the user from step 3 must be active in the vehicle. The first name is usually part of the greeting from the vehicle's infotainment system.
2. there is a “Data protection” or “Release for transfer to third parties” section, which must be active. Especially with regard to the location, there are often separate settings.
If necessary, take a look at the following help:

Step 5:
Now confirm the data exchange between your fleet manager and your fleet vehicle.
Important note:
The TRONITY application shows you a lot of data on the use of your fleet vehicle. In particular, location, journeys, loads, ... This data is initially only intended for you as the user. However, there is the option to share dedicated data with the fleet management - if it makes sense. This dialog informs you which data is shared.
In the Settings > Ecosystem area, you can check this sharing at any time and withdraw it if necessary.
Step 6:
You have now successfully connected your vehicle to your fleet. Your fleet manager receives a message that the connection has been established and data transfer is active.
