- Profile (profile icon top right)
- Click on “Vehicle overview”
- Click on “BMW CarData”
- Scroll to the “BMW CARDATA DATA RELEASES” section
The following status are possible: pending, active or canceled.
If there are problems, all pending requests must be canceled or deleted before the vehicle can be reconnected in the TRONITY app.
If all is well, it should look like this.
Prerequisite
Please check in the BMW app:
Profile (profile icon on the far right in the bottom bar)
Scroll down to the bottom
“Data protection settings in your BWW
“All on” or ”Individual selection”
Important: If this entry is not available, the user must first be assigned to the BWM as the main user.
Carry out / check data release
Data release must be carried out in the vehicle. As a rule, there is no corresponding setting option in the manufacturer's mobile app.
The procedure is best documented in the operating instructions for the respective model. We recommend downloading the following app from BMW: BMW Guide
Please add the respective vehicle there. From there PDF > Operating instructions > Search “Data transmission”
