Review of Recently Released Features – October 2023 Edition

This week, we are presenting you a review of recently released TRONITY features. The starting point is the newsletter from July 2023 titled "Outlook on Upcoming Features and Functions - July 2023 Edition".

New TRONITY App for iOS & Android

The new TRONITY App for iOS & Android can be used completely independently of the TRONITY Web App. Additionally, we have added numerous functions to the new app and will continuously expand them in the upcoming releases. Link to the newsletter.

Digital Logbook with Document Verification

To provide authorities and service providers the opportunity to verify the authenticity of the logbook created via TRONITY in case of an audit, a corresponding document copy will be stored in TRONITY after exporting one’s logbook. This document copy can be accessed via a unique QR code found on the document. Link to the newsletter.

Checking the Data Consistency of Trips and Charges

The representation of trips and charges is based on the data transmission by the respective vehicle manufacturer. Possible deviations or errors in this transmission by the manufacturer can cause inconsistencies in the data. To identify such inconsistencies early on, we perform special data checks. If deviations are detected, the affected charges and trips will be marked with a note. Based on this note, you can either manually correct or ignore the inconsistencies. Link to the newsletter.

Labeling of Charging Sessions with Renewable Energy

If a charging session was carried out entirely with renewable energy, it can now easily be categorized via the TRONITY App and TRONITY Web App. This not only automatically sets the price to 0 € but also correctly adjusts the CO2 balance. Link to the newsletter.

Optimized Integration of Volkswagen Brand Vehicles

We are pleased to inform you that we have intensified our cooperation with the Volkswagen brand. Not only has the process to connect a vehicle with TRONITY been simplified, but it also lays the foundation for further innovations in the future.
